Private Tours on the Island Explorer 5
The Island Explorer 5 is the most state-of-the-art vessel on the entire West Coast, boasting impressive speed and high-tech electronics.
Island Explorer 5 went into service in 2017. She is USCG certified for 150 passengers. Inside and outside seating is available for all guests, making her perfect for large groups year-round. She has a state-of-the-art A/V system for presentations in the upper and lower salons with 7 flat screen TV’s and a great sound system. Our onboard Sea Store has non-alcoholic beverage packages, as well as beer and wine service available to add to your charter. Feel free to bring your own snacks and appetizers, or have your event catered by one of the great companies in the Anacortes area. IE5 was designed specifically for whale and wildlife tours but is so comfortable that it is great for large groups and private charters of any kind.

Island Explorer 5 is US Coast Guard certified for up to 150 guests and has three viewing decks, two indoor heated cabin spaces, two restrooms, and beverage packages available (including beer/wine). We have a variety of snacks that can be made available for sale, bring your own, or have food catered from one of the many options local here to Anacortes.
