It's gray whale season and we are soaking it up! March is a great time to see gray whales as they migrate into our waters. We headed south today after reports of whales were popping up all over Saratoga Passage.

After a fun cruise through Deception Pass and some awesome looks at this iconic bridge, we headed down around Strawberry Point and found a whole group of gray whales! We spent time watching all these individuals and we were able to identify 3 of them as #56 Stardust, #53 Little Patch, and #2246. Many blows were seen further out and it was great to know that so many whales were in the area!

We headed back up through Deception Pass after that and took a turn south to the waters off NAS Whidbey and joined gray whale #2557. They gave us some amazing looks before we made our way to Williamson Rocks. We found a big group of harbor seals there before heading back to Anacortes!
