September 1, 2026 | 1 PM Whale Watch

We headed up to the north for this trip, beyond Alden bank and near the shores of Point Roberts. On our way up we stopped briefly near the south end of Alden bank to check out a Steller sea lion hanging out on a navigational buoy. We continued north after that seeing some harbor porpoise feeding around the bank and eventually nearing Point Roberts, joining up with the T123's and T46B3 with her new calf. We hung out for a while and really got to enjoy a wonderful evening with these Bigg's killer whales before waving goodbye and heading back down to Migley point. We found a couple adorable Steller sea lions hauled out on another navigational buoy and stopped for a photo op. Continuing south from there we swung over toward Village point and found a rock covered in harbor seals. From there we enjoyed a nice calm cruise back to Anacortes with the Sea state getting smooth and the winds at our back. It was a phenomenal trip!!!
