June 30, 2026 | 1 PM Whale Watch

What a great first trip back to start off the season! We started off heading through Guemes Channel, there was a little fog but the blue skies were fighting there way through! While slowed down for the ferry, we spotted a sea lion chilling on top of the navigation marker on the West end of Guemes Channel. We were surprised to see it was a California sea lion!

We continued on our way through the inner San Juan Islands and made our way to Presidents Channel where we encountered the T65Bs! We got to observe these whales zigzagging through the currents. Guests also spotted a few harbor porpoise pop up sporadically, leading us to wonder what was happening beneath the surface! After some quality time with those Bigg’s killer whales, we continued on our way back home slowing down at Pointer Island to see bald eagles and a few harbor seals hunting in the water. By the end of the trip it was bright blue skies and flat calm waters. Beautiful day full of wild life and a great cruise through the San Juan Islands!
