September 10, 2025 | 10 AM and 3 PM Whale Watch

We headed out into some great conditions this morning, with gray skies and calm seas. Heading by Burrows Island we had great views of the lighthouse as fog crept in around Deception Pass. Heading through the pass, we made our way south to the end of the Swinomish Slough and found the T137s traveling northbound inside Whidbey island. We followed them all the way north to the pass with Jack legging behind the group and Loon travelling closely with Tempest and Wright. Waving goodbye at the bridge we cruised back out into Rosario strait and some lovely sunshine as we headed back to Anacortes.

With a sunny afternoon settling over head and a second wave of energy and joy washing over us, we headed out into the Salish Sea. Good reports were coming in of the T137's we had seen earlier inside of Deception Pass. We cruised through Thatcher pass and as we joined the T137's at Leo Reef it seemed as though they had just finished a kill. With some brief splashing they were soon on the move again. We followed them up into East Sound and continued to get some amazing looks before finally waving goodbye and heading to Obstruction pass. Cruising up Rosario Strait we stopped at a navigation Buoy and watched some Steller sea lions playing around for a bit before heading back toward Anacortes for the night.
