Heading out into the Salish Sea today, we were greeted by a juvenile bald eagle at the mouth of Cap Santa before heading west. Reports of orcas began to pour in from around the seas and we decided to take the route less traveled. Heading through Deception Pass we spotted an adult bald eagle and dozens of cormorants flying around.

We stopped at Strawberry Island and found a nice bob of seals before continuing down into Saratoga Passage. Not far from Rockaway Beach on Camano Island we found the T100Bs and T100E Bigg's orca whales traveling northbound! We got some great looks and enjoyed watching T100B3 frolicking and being a playful calf. It was great spending time with this orca family, and after a while we had to wave goodbye and head home to Anacortes!
