This expedition was designed specifically for photographers looking to spend more time on the water without the time restriction of a typical tour. Your crew, who have decades of experience interpreting cetacean behavior, will account for seastate, lighting, and live reports, so all you have to worry about is making sure your camera is charged.

Enjoy a true islander experience staying at Lopez Islander Resort, located on Lopez Island in the heart of the San Juans. This basecamp provides access to reports coming from the north, east, south, and west, so our routes are limitless. Longer summer days and a small group size means we’ll be able to make runs for multiple reports and customize days according to our guests’ desires and wildlife goals.

Single Occupancy: $3,000 per person

Island Adventures requires a four person minimum to run this expedition. We reserve the right to cancel within 48 hours if inclement weather will severely impact the expedition. If rescheduling is not possible, full refunds will be issued. Guests are required to pay the full fare when they book. You may cancel your reservation up to two weeks in advance for a 75% refund. Cancellations inside two weeks will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations inside one week will receive a 25% refund. Cancellations inside 48 hours will receive no refund. In the event we can find someone to fill your space after you have cancelled, you will receive a 100% refund.
