July 30, 2026 | 10 AM and 3 PM Whale Watch

10 AM

Good wildlife karma was in the air this morning!! We left the dock with reports of Orca whales close to home, nothing better! But believe it or not, it only got better from there! We not only saw a T party on the West side of Allan island, we also saw Jack, a local favorite swimming in Rosario Strait… but that's not all! We then saw harbor seals on the Cone Islands, Stellar Sea lions jumping onto the navigation marker near Sinclair island, and two mature bald eagles on pea pod rocks. To top it all off, we got to see Orcas AGAIN near Washington park and the Washington State Ferry terminal to end our trip. It doesn't get better than this!! - Clare

3 PM

Again… wild life karma GALORE! We started off our trip heading through Rosario strait between Blakely and Cypress Island. This is where our luck started. We spotted a Gray Whale that was lingering just beneath the surface! We got to see this whale come up for short breaths multiple times before continuing on our journey. It was cool to see a Gray Whale still in the area! We then turned towards Sinclair where we saw four Stellar sea lions brawling in the current lines. After that, we made our way towards Samish bay where we caught up with members of the T36’s and T37A’s. Boy did we time it right, when we arrived we got to see tail slaps and big splashes followed by the calf in the group, T36B1A Maple, breaching multiple times! It was quite the show! The group even left some scraps of whatever they were hunting behind and they floated right by our boat. Talk about National Geographic uncut!!!! We got to spend quality time with these Orcas before heading back home. It was a beautiful evening with flat calm waters and warm sun. Perfect end to an amazing day!!! -Clare
