June 24, 2026 | 1 PM Whale Watch
We headed west this afternoon with some reports coming in from Haro strait. Cruising through the inner islands we soon arrived at Spieden Island where we slowed down to check out some mouflon sheep and an adult bald eagle. A few fallow deer were hiding in the shade at the forests edge, escaping the heat of the mid afternoon. From there we cruised a little further and joined up with two humpbacks. They were BCX0951 Velvet and CRC-22468 Vector, both visiting from Maui. We hung out with them for a while before traveling back to the east. Near the Shaw island ferry we stopped to check out some harbor seals before continuing to make our way back to the docks. It was a almost excellent day!!!
