With the winds moving back out of our part of the world and blue skies settling in overhead, we once again started to feel like summertime. We watched a bald eagle perched in the marina as we went through our boarding procedures then headed out of Cap Sante marina. Reports of activity in the islands had us traveling west and soaking in the scenery as we went.

Heading through Wasp Pass, we soon arrived on scene with the Bigg's orca whale pod known as the T19s. Galiano's massive fin acting as a billboard and welcoming us in. We traveled with the T19s for a while before waving goodbye to them as we neared turn point. From there Captain Carl took us south into Haro straight where we joined up with the legendary humpback known as Big Mama and what was even more special is, SHE HAD A CALF! We hung out for some time and got some amazing looks before heading east.

On the way home we swung by Spieden Island and saw some mouflon sheep, some circling turkey vultures, and a few Steller sea lions on Green point. After getting our fill we cruised back to the east through Pole pass and back to Cap Sante marina.
